One wk of holiday has passed and nothing much was done. Got back from Gold Coast on tues, 5D4N. Wasnt as fantastic as what was expected. Stayed in GCI facing surfer's paradise,
Fist day was just strolling along the beach, had seafood for lunch and steak along Ashmore supposing to be one of the best steak in GC. Then 2nd day, went to Movieworld..
Not much exciting rides, but the thrilling and memorable ones would defiantly be Batwing and superman escape.. and i really like this.. vroom!!!
And of cause not forgetting the Police Academy show! They were great and the effects were really good. People falling from the roof, people being shot in a "canon" over the building etc.. how cool is that! real life in front of u. They also have the usual All Star parade from tweety, Bugs, Shrek, batman, catwoman etc etc...
Then the third day, we went to seaworld
No thrill rides that can compare to movie world (other than in dreamworld but didnt go there) but they have waterski show, of cause needless to say, they were great, they even had the pyramid formation at the end. Aww miss wakeboard.. then we also went for the dolphin show, its not the normal ones that we usually get to see but its really spectacular! they can ski on the dolphin, get thrown up etc.. its really great..
Forth day, we went to wet'n'wild, it just reminds me of the one we had in sg, of cause they had larger and more exciting ones but wasnt really that fantastic. But of cause, we still had our share of fun. especially the tornado, thats really one good one.
Last day of trip, another stroll along the beach, walk around the shops, but can u believe it, I never get anything at all there! not a single thing.. damn sian. wanted to get a soft toy, but it cost ~150!! we was like wth! so damn ex la.. but damn nice.. and a adidas jacket! wanted to buy.. but didnt.. hai.. now regretting.. but would definitely get it some day... black with gold.. how cool is that..
Anyway on thurs, went boathouse by the lake once again... with kelly, her bro, cousin and Julia.. I wanted to try new stuff that i didnt had the previous time and first up was fresh oysters with salmon roe.. Oooo can you imagine how good can that be.. *drool.. then the tomato soup with pork belly, complementary from the chef, this wasnt as good as the mushroom soup the previous time i had.. next up is the waygu beef!!! Oooo so good! so tender! love it! I practically finish every single bit of it, then finally the dessert, i had this apple crumble thing, god, its so crispy, the pastry is wonderful! a swt after taste that stays in yr mouth, but not too swt, perfect! really had a grreat meal! best place in Canberra.. (personally) haa
